Audiology Extern
Karissa Terry is a dedicated professional joining the Center for Hearing & Speech. She holds a B.S. in Audiology and Speech Language Sciences with a double minor in Special Education and American Sign Language from University of Northern Colorado. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing devices, cochlear implants and auditory processing. She enjoys immersing herself further into the deaf and hard of hearing community and is skilled in her use of American Sign Language.
Karissa grew up with hearing loss and has become an incredible advocate for not only herself, but her patients as well. If you see Karissa in our clinic, you will see a service dog and interpreter present during the appointments.
Her hobbies include cooking and baking, playing with her dog, building Legos, board games and trying new restaurants.
