Audiologist
Dr. Stelmach has been a licensed audiologist in the St. Louis area since 2017 and is very happy to be a provider with the Center for Hearing and Speech. She specializes in cochlear implants, bone conduction devices, diagnostic testing and hearing aids. Dr. Stelmach is genuinely warm hearted and always listens to her patients’ concerns. She feels the excitement when they notice improvement in their hearing to enjoy the sounds around them and to hear the voices of family members again.
She earned her B.A. degrees from the University of Iowa in both Speech & Hearing Science and Dance Performance. She received her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Stelmach is a licensed audiologist in the state of Missouri, and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
In addition to her clinical work, you can find Dr. Stelmach teaching dance at a local studio to children of all ages as well as being a judge for high school dance team competitions. Having been a dancer since the age of three, she now passes on her love of dance to the next generation of performers. She enjoys family time with her parents and sisters whenever possible and loves the sunny outdoors, spending time at the lake, pool, bicycling in the park or going for walks to find the nearest ice cream destination, even if it’s her own freezer.
